Alexander Rüsche

Alexander Ruesche joined the FES as a Project Manager in July 2011. He holds a master’s degree (M.A.) in Middle Eastern Studies, Political Science and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Cologne and studied Arabic at the University of Damascus. Prior to his studies he worked for the German Press-Agency (dpa).

At FES Jerusalem Alexander is amongst other things in charge of the political cooperation with Al Mubadara and Trade Unions. Besides German Alexander speaks English and Arabic and has basic knowledge of Persian and French.
