Henrik Meyer
Project Manager, Jerusalem

Henrik Meyer joined the FES as a Project Manager in September 2008. He studied political science, Middle Eastern studies and history at the University of Hamburg and the University of Damascus. His studies focused on Middle Eastern politics and societies as well as political theory. During his studies in Germany and the Middle East he received a scholarship of the German National Academic Foundation. Before joining the FES he worked as a journalist and as student assistant to the Asia Africa Institute of the University of Hamburg.

Henrik’s work at the FES in Jerusalem focuses on cooperation projects with the partners of FES Passia, JMCC and IPP, as well as Al-Mubadara (Palestinian National Initiative), Palestinian unions and youth.

He speaks German, English, French and Arabic and has basic knowledge of Hebrew and Turkish.
