At the occasion of the second seesion of "Face the Public" EU Representative Christian Berger met with Gaza's civil society on 26 May 2010.
On 17 May 2010 Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and PalThink for Strategic Studies launched a series of public debates under the title of "Face the Public" in the Gaza strip. The first session united John Ging, Head of UNRWA operations, and members of civil society.
Since May 2005 the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung has been supporting a training project for young Palestinian women in cooperation with the General Union of Palestinian Women (GUPW).
A Nuclear Free Zone in the Middle East: Realistic or Idealistic? On 10 May 2010 FES and its partner PIJ hosted an international conference at the Notre Dame Center in Jerusalem.
