At the initiative of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Jerusalem, the first Al-Mubadara Summer School took place in Talitha Kumi from 11 to 14 August.

SPD Secretary General Hubertus Heil meets Palestinian politicians in Ramallah and is the first German parliamentarian to visit the Gaza Strip after the war.
Niels Annen, Member of the German Parliament, met on his visit to the Palestinian Territories representatives of Al Mubadara, Fatah and other partner organisations of the FES. He delivered a speech about "Germany as an exporter of security" in the Willy-Brandt-Center.
The screening of the Palestinian film "Pomegranates and Myrrh" in Berlin was a great success. The film of director Najwa Najjar was sponsored by FES Jerusalem, which supported the project from the beginning.
