Passia Conference on „Israel’s Political Decision Making”
On 26 January 2010 a conference on Israel’s political decision making organized by the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs (PASSIA) took place in the Ambassador Hotel in Jerusalem. The conference under the title „Israel’s Political Decision Making: Who, How and the Different Components” drew a large crowd thanks to its panel including reknowned Ha’aretz Journalist Akiva Eldar, Member of Knesset Daniel Ben Simon of the Labor Party, as well as Ahmad Tibi, Member of the United Party of the Arab Movement for Change. A lively discussion about the decision making process and the current position of the Labor Party followed the speeches of the panelists.
